The Certified Delmarva Grown program offered by the Delmarva Farmers Union (DFU) certifies food and agricultural products grown or raised on farms on the Delmarva Peninsula of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
Certified Delmarva Grown means local! This label assures shoppers, chefs and buyers that they are spending their dollars to support local farms and families, while minimizing the distance their food travels. While many vendors, farm stands, and restaurants claim to sell local foods, the CDG logo ensures that those products are, in-fact, produced on local farms.
Certified Delmarva Grown Counties:
Delaware: New Castle, Kent, Sussex.
Maryland: Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset.
Virginia: Accomack, Northampton.
